Police investigate child approach near Albury

Police are investigating a child approach near Albury.

About 3.45pm yesterday (Thursday 15 October 2015), an eight-year-old boy was waiting at a bus stop at the corner of Prune and Comans Streets, Lavington, when an unknown man pulled up alongside him.

The man attempted to speak to the boy, but when the boy refused to speak to him, the driver left.

Police were notified of the incident and have commenced inquiries.

They would like to speak to a man described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build and a large tattoo on his arm. The man is further described as having blonde hair and wearing sunglasses. He may be aged between 30 and 35.
