Police have arrested one man and two women following a vehicle stop at Table Top.

About 11.30am (Wednesday 30 September 2015), officers from Albury Local Area Command and Traffic and Highway Patrol were patrolling The Hume Highway, near Table Top, 10km north of Albury.

Officers stopped a silver car and spoke to three occupants. A search of the car revealed a number of firearms.

The man aged 30 and two women age 19, were arrested at the location and taken to Albury Police Station, where they are assisting with inquiries.

Investigations are continuing.
