AUGUST

Saturday 29 7:30pm Musica Viva presents Paul Lewis. A great piano recital is
chamber music in its purest form, intimate but universal.
In the hands of a master such as Paul Lewis, it can be a
transcendent experience and a personal sharing of ideas
and emotions. The program will feature Brahms and
Beethoven.

SEPTEMBER

Conservatorium Percussion Ensembles, St Philips Drum
Line & Junior Percussion Ensemble.

Saturday 19 10am – 1pm Newcastle Con Open Day. Come along and experience

OCTOBER

Thursday 15 7:30pm Musica Viva presents Modigliani Quartet. Since their first
Australian tour with Sabine Meyer, the Modigliani Quartet
are going from strength to strength and now look wellplaced
to assume the mantle of the top French string
quartet of their generation. In this performance, Haydn’s
quartets will bring a natural lightness, paving the way for
more powerful explosions from Beethoven and Schubert.
