Police appeal for information after firearms stolen during break-ins – Tamworth

Police are appealing for information after several firearms were stolen during three break-ins in Tamworth yesterday.

Between 11am and 12pm yesterday (Wednesday 5 August 2015), three houses on Semillion Drive were broken into.

During the incidents, a number of items were stolen, including several silver coins, four rifles and ammunition.

Officers from Oxley Local Area Command attended and established several crime scenes, which were examined by specialist forensic officers.

Witnesses have told police they saw two men run from one of the premises and get into the rear of a white-coloured late model Holden Commodore sedan, which then left the scene.
