Two men charged following break and enters – Wagga Wagga

Two men were charged today (Sunday 8 March 2015), in relation to three alleged break and enters; two at Jugiong and one at Kooringal.

About 6.30am today (Sunday 8 March 2015), police were patrolling the Sturt Highway when they stopped two men travelling in a blue Ford Focus.

A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly located items and cash later identified as being stolen from the break and enter of two businesses in Jugiong earlier that morning.

Both men were arrested and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station.

A 25-year-old man was charged with two counts of break and enter in relation to the businesses at Jugiong.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Wagga Wagga Local Court on Friday 24 April 2015.

The driver of the vehicle, another 25-year-old male, was charged with the alleged break and enter and malicious damage of a business at Kooringal earlier this week, driving whilst unlicensed, goods in custody and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear before Wagga Wagga Local Court on Monday 9 March 2015.
