Man taken to hospital after motorbike crash closes Hume Highway

A man in his 40s is in a critical condition at the Canberra Hospital after a motorbike crash on the Hume Highway near Goulburn, one of a number of crashes in the region on Friday morning.

About 7.50am, NSW Ambulance received reports the man had suffered a critical leg injury from the highway crash.

The highway was closed in a northbound direction while the man was airlifted to hospital by the Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue helicopter.

The ambulance also received reports at 9.15am of a single-car crash at Bevendale Road, Dalton near Gunning involving two adults and as many as five children.

Paramedics were still responding as of 10.10am.

Traffic was heavy on the Cotter Road on Friday morning after a two-car crash, turned into a six-car pile-up between the Tuggeranong Parkway and the McCulloch Street intersection at 8.05am.

There was also a two-car crash near the Flemington Road exit onto the Federal Highway outside EPIC, which held up traffic coming through from Gungahlin.

Two youths arrested after attempted break and enter – Armidale

Two teenagers have been arrested after an attempted break-in at Armidale today.

As part of ongoing operations into break, enter and steal offences in Armidale, about 6am (Saturday 28 February 2015) police attended Butlers Lane, responding to a report two males were seen acting suspiciously in the area.

Police located two youths who were arrested in relation to an attempted break-in.

The males, aged 13 and 15, were formally interviewed and released into the care of their parents.

The 13-year-old was charged with break and enter with intent and will appear in a children’s court on Thursday 9 April, 2015.

The 15-year-old will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.

Diynamic Festival Amsterdam 2015

Diynamic Festival Amsterdam goes into the third round: On Friday, May 29th, Diynamic Music returns to the Dutch capital to host the third edition of its very own Diynamic Festival. Traditionally, the label is bringing its complete artist roster along, including Solomun, David August, Adriatique, H.O.S.H., Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Stimming, Karmon, NTFO, Thyladomid, Magdalena, DJ Phono and Ost & Kjex. The venue will be the same marvellous glade as last year at “Amsterdamse Bos”, where two custom stages will be built especially for this event.

To the label and its artists, Diynamic Festival Amsterdam is an affair of the heart. It is a very special date, to which all artists look forward throughout the whole year: A family reunion, where everyone prepares special sets to showcase the very best they have to offer. Both preceding festivals have been sold out and an exceptional success.

On Friday, May 29th, Diynamic Music will return to Amsterdamse Bos, the city’s nearby forest, for the third edition of Diynamic Festival Amsterdam. It’s starting at 11:00h in the morning and going on until 23:00h at night. New this year: There will be two stages, so you can enjoy the most out of every individual artist.

The venue “Kleine Speelweide” at “Amsterdamse Bos” is just outside of Amsterdam, easy to reach by bike or by bus from Amsterdam central station.
