Police appeal to find driver of 4WD after pursuit – Goulburn

Police investigating a pursuit in Goulburn on Tuesday are appealing for the driver of a silver or grey 4WD to come forward.

About 12.50am on Tuesday 31 March 2015, police from Goulburn Local Area Command were involved in a pursuit of a VT Holden Commodore station wagon being driven by a 53-year-old man.

The pursuit travelled through Windemella Road, Bourke Street, Victoria Street, and McDermott Drive.

Police will allege the Holden drove at police vehicles, causing them to take evasive action. It also allegedly drove towards a 4WD, causing it to brake harshly.

The driver of the Holden has been taken to hospital and police hope to interview him once his condition improves.

Officers are now appealing for the driver of a silver or grey 4WD which was travelling south on McDermott Drive approaching the bridge at that time to contact them.

Police believe the driver may be able to assist with their investigations into the pursuit.
