They\u2019re one of Australia\u2019s favourite country rock bands and now The Wolfe Brothers have \"image001\"<\/a>announced the first dates of what will be a year-long jaunt called Let\u2019s Hit The Road \u2013 Australian Tour. Easily one of the hardest working bands on the circuit today, if they\u2019re not touring, they\u2019re writing and recording \u2013 in fact, they haven\u2019t really stopped since they smashed onto the Australian scene back in 2012.<\/p>\n

The band has recently been in Nashville writing songs for their next album. In fact, they only just arrived back in the country on the weekend and are already looking forward to a busy 12-months ahead recording their fourth album. \u201cWe will be doing a lot more of our own shows around the country,\u201d says Tom. \u201cWe will also continue touring with Lee Kernaghan on his 25th anniversary tour, which has been such a huge success! We\u2019re excited that it will now be extending into next year!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Nashville songwriting trip was a creative powerhouse. \u201cThe songwriting on this trip feels like we have stepped up another level,\u201d says guitarist Brodie Rainbird. \u201cWe have spent so much time in Nashville over the last couple of years that it is our second home, and we feel very settled and relaxed there now. The past experience of writing the last album there has given us the confidence to approach these songwriting sessions with much more focus on what we want to achieve, in terms of a direction for the next album.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rightfully considered as one of the hottest live country bands in Australia, The Wolfe Brothers are renowned for their tight performances and affable approach. With the release of the first leg of their Let\u2019s Hit The Road \u2013 Australian Tour for 2017, the second leg \u2013 slated for 2018 \u2013 will be announced in coming weeks. The band is looking forward to sharing some of their biggest hits \u2013 and new material \u2013 with fans on the road.<\/p>\n

Lead singer Nick Wolfe says no night will be the same. \u201cWe are trying to evolve as a band,\u201d he says. \u201cWe do not want to stay the same all the time, we want to grow and get better at what we do. Our goal is to achieve this on the new tour by giving the audience all the hit songs with some nostalgic covers but also share some new music with them before we release these songs on next album. It is always very satisfying to get the reaction of the hard-core fans to our new songs. We genuinely like to get them involved in the lead up to releasing a new album, and there is no better way to do that than to get the fan\u2019s opinion of some new songs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Wolfe Brothers most recent album This Crazy Life hit #2 on the ARIA country charts and has spawned three #1 singles, making it 10 singles in a row from the last 3 albums to hit the #1 spot on the country charts. The current radio release, a duet with Lee Kernaghan on his single Damn Good Mates, has also spawned airplay around the country.<\/p>\n

The Wolfe Brothers Let\u2019s Hit The Road \u2013 Australian Tour will roll-out around Australia until June 2018. The band\u2019s as-yet-untitled new album will be released mid-2018.<\/p>\n
