A man has been charged with drink driving after allegedly tail-gating the wrong driver on the M1 at Cooranbong yesterday.<\/p>\n
A 43-year-old man was driving north about 2.50pm (Friday 2 September 2016), when he was stopped by Northern Region Commander, Assistant Commissioner Jeff Loy.<\/p>\n
It will be alleged it was raining heavily when the man tail-gated the Assistant Commissioner before passing him at speed.<\/p>\n
The Commander stopped the driver near Marshall Street with a subsequent roadside breath test returning a positive result.<\/p>\n
The man was arrested and taken to Morisset Police Station where he allegedly returned a breath analysis reading of 0.110.<\/p>\n
The man was charged with mid-range PCA and was conditionally bailed to Toronto Local Court on Tuesday 27 September 2016.<\/p>\n
His licence has been suspended.<\/p>\n
