Police are appealing for information following the robbery of a betting facility in Mayfield yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 8.10pm (Monday 29 August 2016), a man entered the Maitland Road facility and approached the counter.<\/p>\n
He engaged in conversation with an employee before allegedly producing a knife and demanding money from the till.<\/p>\n
The male employee handed the man an amount of cash before he ran from the store.<\/p>\n
He is described as being aged between 25 and 30, with a medium to stocky build and about 178cm tall.<\/p>\n
There were no customers on the premises at the time of the robbery, and police are now appealing for anyone who may have information that could assist.<\/p>\n
