A man will appear in court today after being charged with firearm offences earlier this week.<\/p>\n
About 11pm (Wednesday 6 July 2016), police from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command were involved in a pursuit with a white Toyota utility which was later found abandoned in Phillip Avenue, Mt Austin.<\/p>\n
During a search of the vehicle, officers located two firearms, a rifle and a revolver.<\/p>\n
Yesterday (Thursday 7 July 2016), a 32-year-old man attended Wagga Wagga Police Station. The man is subject to a Firearms Prohibition Order.<\/p>\n
He was arrested and charged with acquire firearm, acquire pistol and acquire ammunition. All charges are subject to the Firearms Prohibition Order.<\/p>\n
