Racing NSW have announced Gundagai’s iconic race day as one of 15 across the state to receive \u2018showcase meeting\u2019 status.<\/p>\n
It will see the Gundagai race meeting offer a minimum of $30,000 in prizemoney per race on the day.<\/p>\n
Racing NSW chief executive Peter V\u2019Landys AM hopes the increase helps grow Snake Gully Cup day.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Showcase meetings provide excellent opportunities to focus greater attention on some of NSW\u2019s emerging country cup meetings,\u201d V\u2019Landys said.<\/p>\n
