Police have charged three men following the execution of a search warrant in Newcastle yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 8.40pm on Sunday 19 June 2016, officers from Newcastle City Local Area Command attended a home on Irving Street, Wallsend, and executed a search warrant.<\/p>\n
Police allegedly located a hydroponic system containing 129 cannabis plants inside the home and 132 cut cannabis plants and leaf inside a van parked on the driveway of the premises.<\/p>\n
Following further inquiries, about 4.10pm yesterday (Sunday 19 June 2016), police arrested a 32-year-old man; a 24-year-old man and a 48-year-old man where they were taken to Newcastle Police Station.<\/p>\n
They were charged with cultivate prohibited plant, greater than commercial quantity and possess prohibited plant.<\/p>\n
All three men were refused bail to appear at Newcastle Local Court on (Monday 27 June 2016).<\/p>\n
