A man has been charged following a fatal single-vehicle crash at The Rock, near Wagga Wagga, yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n
About 2pm (Sunday 17 April 2016) emergency services were called to Vincents Road, The Rock, following reports of a crash.<\/p>\n
Initial investigations suggest a white Ford sedan was travelling on Vincent Road when the car allegedly lost control, and rolled onto its roof.<\/p>\n
The passenger of the car, a 13-year-old boy, died at the scene.<\/p>\n
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics for minor injuries.<\/p>\n
He was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, where he underwent mandatory blood and urine tests.<\/p>\n
A crime scene was established and investigated by specialist forensic officers.<\/p>\n
The driver was later arrested and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station where was charged with negligent driving cause death, aggravated burnout, drive unlicensed, drive unregistered, and drive uninsured.<\/p>\n
