Two men have been charged over alleged illicit drug and goods in custody offences following a vehicle stop in Wagga Wagga this morning.<\/p>\n
Just after 12.15am (Saturday 16 April 2016), officers attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command stopped a red Holden Commodore travelling east along the Sturt Highway.<\/p>\n
Police spoke to the driver and passenger, before searching the men and the vehicle.<\/p>\n
It will be alleged police located ecstasy tablets and cash, which were seized for forensic examination.<\/p>\n
The two men were arrested and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station.<\/p>\n
The driver \u2013 a 38-year-old man \u2013 was charged with supply indictable quantity of prohibited drugs and possession of prohibited drugs.<\/p>\n
The passenger \u2013 a 22-year-old man \u2013 was charged with goods in custody.<\/p>\n
The pair was granted conditional bail, to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court on 8 June 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
