Police are investigating after a teenage boy was approached by an unknown man in the state\u2019s Central Hunter region yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 1.40pm (Thursday 14 April 2016), a 15-year-old boy was spoken to by an unknown man while in a public toilet at a park near the New England Highway at Maitland.<\/p>\n
The teen immediately left the area and informed his mother of the incident. Police were then called to the location.<\/p>\n
A patrol of the area was conducted, however the man could not be located.<\/p>\n
Investigators would like to speak to a man who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.<\/p>\n
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 40s, with short grey or white hair and a beard. At the time he was wearing a short-sleeved polo shirt and khaki-coloured jeans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
