Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision outside Newcastle today.<\/p>\n
Shortly before 1pm (Wednesday 13 April 2016), emergency services were called to a head-on collision between a car and a truck on Tourle Street Bridge, Kooragang.<\/p>\n
A 25-year-old female driver was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.<\/p>\n
The male driver of the truck was taken to John Hunter Hospital for mandatory testing.<\/p>\n
Traffic and Highway Patrol with the assistance of Crime Scene investigators are currently attending and have commenced an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n
