<\/b>Police have renewed warnings not to approach a man who escaped from a correctional centre near Albury last week.<\/p>\n
Artur Wojik, 45, was last seen at the minimum-security correctional centre on Jingellic Road, Mannus, about 130km north of Albury, at 5.30pm Thursday (7 April 2016).<\/p>\n
The prisoner was noticed missing at 7.30am the following day (Friday 8 April 2016), and a search was initiated.<\/p>\n
Police from Albury Local Area Command have renewed their warnings for anyone who sees the man, NOT to approach him, instead to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n
Artur Wojik is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170-175cm tall, of a medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on his right bicep and was last seen wearing prison greens.<\/p>\n
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a man matching this description to contact Triple Zero (000) immediately.<\/p>\n
