A man will face court today following an alleged incident at a Newcastle park yesterday.<\/p>\n
Between 6.30pm and 8pm (Tuesday 5 April 2016), police will allege a 36-year-old man started swearing at a number of small children playing in a park at Mayfield.<\/p>\n
A number of parents confronted the man who allegedly swore at them as well.<\/p>\n
Police from Newcastle City Local Area Command attended and spoke to the man who allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication.<\/p>\n
The man was arrested and taken to Waratah Police Station where he was charged with use offensive language in a public place and breach of bail.<\/p>\n
