A man has been charged after he allegedly climbed on top of a stationary train in the Hunter Valley yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 1.30pm (Sunday 20 March 2016), police will allege a man entered the railway corridor at Chillcotts Creek, approximately 3km south of Willow Tree.<\/p>\n
He then climbed on top of a stationary coal train and refused to come down.<\/p>\n
Officers from Hunter Valley Local Area Command and Police Rescue attended and about 5pm were able to assist the man from the top of the locomotive, where he was arrested.<\/p>\n
A 33-year-old man from Queensland was taken to Muswellbrook Police Station and charged with obstructing a railway and trespassing.<\/p>\n
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Scone Local Court on Thursday 24 March 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
