Police have been called to investigate after a man presented himself to Armidale hospital with a gunshot wound overnight.<\/p>\n
In the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 16 March 2016), a 23-year-old arrived at Armidale Hospital, with a gunshot wound to his leg.<\/p>\n
About 4am, officers from New England Local Area Command attended a home in Cooks Road and established a crime scene. There were a number of people in the home at the time.<\/p>\n
The man remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
Police are continuing their inquires into the circumstances surrounding his injury, including if this is in fact a targeted attack. Cooks Road remains closed while investigations continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
