Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle crash near Goulburn on the weekend.<\/p>\n
About 5.50pm (Sunday 13 March 2016), an 18-year-old man was riding a motorcycle south along the Hume Highway.<\/p>\n
As the man approached Yarra, near Goulburn, he collided with the rear of a Toyota sedan travelling in the same direction, and he was thrown from the motorcycle.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were called and the motorcyclist was treated at the scene, before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old female driver of the Toyota was uninjured and taken to Goulburn Base Hospital for mandatory testing.<\/p>\n
Yesterday (Monday 14 March 2016), the man died in hospital.<\/p>\n
Officers attached to The Hume Local Area Command are investigating the incident, and are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to come forward.<\/p>\n
