Investigations are continuing after a man was injured by a box cutter in Hamilton yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 10.15am (Thursday 3 February 2016), a 22-year-old man was at a shared residence in Gordon Avenue when he became involved in an argument with two other men.<\/p>\n
One of the men approached the 22-year-old man and allegedly slashed his arms with a box cutter.<\/p>\n
The 22-year-old left the house and contacted emergency services.<\/p>\n
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital for non-life threatening lacerations to his upper right and left arms.<\/p>\n
Officers from Newcastle City Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene at the location.<\/p>\n
Investigations into the matter are continuing and anyone with information that could assist police is urged to come forward.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
