<\/b>Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing man, after he went for a swim in the Wagga area yesterday.<\/p>\n
Shane Skeers, 24, was last seen leaving his home mid-morning yesterday (Monday 8 February 2016), and about 2pm, he received a text message from a family member.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s believed Shane drove to Wiradjuri Revere and about 7pm, he went for a swim; however he has not been seen or heard from since.<\/p>\n
Officers attached to Wagga Wagga Local Area Command were notified and commenced a search of the area, with the assistance of SES, and Ambulance Paramedics.<\/p>\n
The search was suspended yesterday at last light, and will recommence at first light this morning (Tuesday 9 February 2016).<\/p>\n
Shane is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 195cm tall, of large build, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.<\/p>\n
