A report will be prepared for the Coroner following a fatal crash in the Riverina Region yesterday.<\/p>\n
About 6pm (Saturday 6 February 2016), police and emergency services were called to Tallimba-Ardlethan Road, Ardlethan \u2013 north-west of Wagga Wagga \u2013 following reports of a single-vehicle crash.<\/p>\n
On arrival, officers from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command located the 48-year-old male driver deceased in the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Initial inquiries indicate the Holden Commodore had been travelling northbound, when the driver lost control on a bend and crashed into a tree.<\/p>\n
Police established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.<\/p>\n
Local detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for anyone with information that may assist with their inquiries to contact Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
