<\/b>A man has been charged after allegedly threatening a man and a woman at the weekend.<\/p>\n
Investigators will allege a 24-year-old man attended a home in Goulburn on Saturday (10 October 2015), and threatened a 22-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend.<\/p>\n
It will also be alleged he had earlier sent threatening text messages to the other man.<\/p>\n
About 4.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 13 October 2015), the 24-year-old man was arrested by police from Redfern Local Area Command.<\/p>\n
He was taken to Redfern Police Station and spoken to by officers from the Joint Counter Terrorism Team (JCTT) about threatening posts on social media.<\/p>\n
These posts have since been removed.<\/p>\n
He was later charged with use carriage service to threaten to kill, intimidation to cause fear of physical or mental harm, and use carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.<\/p>\n
He has been refused bail and is due to appear at Central Local Court today (Wednesday 14 October 2015).<\/p>\n
