<\/b>Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an armed at a post office in Broadmeadow this afternoon.<\/p>\n
About 12.50pm (Thursday 1 October 2010) a man entered a post office on Belford Street armed with a firearm.<\/p>\n
He approached the counter and threatened a staff member while demanding cash.<\/p>\n
The female employee handed him an amount of cash and he ran from the store.<\/p>\n
He has been described as being Asian in appearance, and aged between 20-30 with a tall build.<\/p>\n
