The band will be heading overseas in November but have today confirmed that their highly anticipated 2016 Tamworth Country Music Festival [TCMF] show will be at Blazes Auditorium in Wests Leagues Club on Wednesday 20th January 2016.

After a packed house at their 2015 TCMF show, The Wolfe Brothers are looking forward to rockin’ the festival and sharing some of the new material that will feature on their third album due for release next April. “We will be coming home with some new songs that we can’t wait to share with everyone who comes along to our show in Tamworth,” says Nick Wolfe. “One thing is for sure, we want this show in Tamworth to be a celebration of the last few years on the road touring around Australia so along with the new songs we will also be playing all our favourites from our first two albums It’s On and Nothin’ But Trouble.”

Tom Wolfe says the Tamworth Country Music Festival is always a highlight on the band’s calendar and they can’t wait for their 2016 show. “Performing at Tamworth is always great fun,” he says. “Not only do we get the chance to catch up with friends but there is always some exciting new music and emerging new acts to discover. It is a tradition for us to hang out a bit in Peel Street and take in the Tamworth vibe before our show. It reminds us of our first trip to Tamworth as a band and how far things have moved forward since then. ”

The band are really looking forward to the experience of writing some new songs in in America says guitarist Brodie Rainbird. “We will be heading to Nashville the day after we complete this amazing 30-date national tour that we have been on with Lee Kernaghan,” he says. “Our plan is to spend a couple of months writing songs for the next album and then head home for our show at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Straight after Tamworth we will return to Nashville to record the album and play some show case gigs for the American record companies. This is all a part of our dreams turning to reality. It is the next step we have to make to see if our music will be accepted in other countries. It is all very exciting and we are looking forward to having a crack at the American market and hopefully do some touring there.”

This year has been a massive one for The Wolfe Brothers. They kicked off 2015 with a string of tour dates with legendary rocker Angry Anderson as their special guest, and have performed at most of the major festivals throughout the year. They have been Lee Kernaghan’s guests on his The Songs & The Stories In Concert tour has seen Tassie’s favourite sons travel to every state in Australia. With a recent DVD/CD release under their belt – The Wolfe Brothers Live at CMC Rocks QLD 2015, it’s unsurprising that the boys are being touted as one of the hardest working bands on the scene today. Since the time they burst onto the national spotlight in 2012 on Australia’s Got Talent, The Wolfe Brothers have earned themselves a stellar reputation for their live shows. After all, they spent years honing their skills performing around their home-state of Tasmania.

Nick says it has always been about the live shows for the band. “From day one, playing live has always been at the heart of what The Wolfe Brothers are about,” he says. “From the early days of playing the pubs, to the big stages like CMC Rocks QLD, we’ve always prided ourselves on having a great live show, and we’re really excited that we’ve been able to have it finally captured on this DVD and CD. We believe that our fans will be able to chuck on the DVD, crank it loud (highly recommended) and feel a part of the energy we strive to put out on stage, all from the comfort of their lounge room!”

Country rockers The Wolfe Brothers have announced their first Australian show date after they return from their writing trip to Nashville.
