<\/b>A man will appear in court next month after allegedly being found in possession of a replica firearm and illicit drugs in Toronto today.<\/p>\n
About 12.15pm (Saturday 22 August 2015), officers attached to Lake Macquarie Local Area Command stopped and spoke to a man in Donnelly Avenue.<\/p>\n
Police searched the man, when they allegedly located a sawn off shotgun and a substance believed to be methylamphetamine.<\/p>\n
The man was arrested at the scene and taken to Toronto Police Station. Further checks revealed the firearm was a replica pistol.<\/p>\n
The 42-year-old man was charged with possess unauthorised prohibited pistol and possess prohibited drug.<\/p>\n
He has been granted conditional bail, to appear at Toronto Local Court on 16 September 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
