<\/b>A man has been charged after police executed a search warrant at a home in Ashmont, near Wagga Wagga, seizing a pen gun, cash, drugs and other items today.<\/p>\n
About 7.30am today (Wednesday 19 August 2015), following investigations into the supply of drugs in the area, police executed a search warrant at a home on Callaghan Street.<\/p>\n
During the search warrant, police allegedly seized a number of items, including a pen gun, drugs believed to be cannabis, and cash.<\/p>\n
All items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.<\/p>\n
At the home, police arrested a 44-year-old man. He was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station and charged with not keep firearm safely, possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, and possess prohibited drug.<\/p>\n
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Wagga Wagga Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 20 August 2015).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
