<\/b>Police are appealing for information after firearms were stolen during a break and enter near Lake Macquarie last week.<\/p>\n
Between 7.30am and 1pm last Friday (17 July 2015), a break-in occurred at a home on Northview Street, Rathmines.<\/p>\n
During the incident, a number of items were stolen, including three air rifles and a shotgun, which were stored in a locked firearms cabinet.<\/p>\n
Police from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.<\/p>\n
