<\/b>Two men have been charged over alleged malicious damage at a railway station in the state\u2019s Lake Macquarie region last month.<\/p>\n
Just before 3.30am on Saturday 2 May 2015, a ticket vending machine was damaged at Dora Creek Railway Station.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s alleged two men had damaged the machine and attempted to steal money from it.<\/p>\n
Police were alerted and officers from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attended and spoke with three men at the scene.<\/p>\n
After obtaining their details, the trio was allowed to leave.<\/p>\n
Following further inquiries by officers from the Police Transport Command, two men were arrested at a Cooronbong home just after 8.30am yesterday (Tuesday 9 June 2015).<\/p>\n
The men, aged 45 and 19, were taken to Toronto Police Station where they were charged with armed with intent to commit indictable offence, malicious damage and attempted stealing.<\/p>\n
Both men were given conditional bail to appear at Toronto Local Court on 8 July 2015.<\/p>\n
