<\/b>Police have located a body while searching for a missing man in the state\u2019s Central Hunter region.<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old was last seen about 9am on Monday (8 June 2015) when he left his campsite at McLean\u2019s Lookout to go for a walk.<\/p>\n
Emergency services were alerted when he failed to return and could not be located or contacted.<\/p>\n
Officers from Central Hunter Local Area Command launched a full-scale search for the man, utilising the Special Casualty Access Team (SCAT), Volunteer Rescue Association, SES and Police Rescue.<\/p>\n
About 9am today, a body was located in bushland near McLeans Lookout.<\/p>\n
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it\u2019s believed to be that of the missing man.<\/p>\n
