<\/b>A Victorian learner motorcyclist will appear in court today following a pursuit in Gunning yesterday, where the rider allegedly reached speeds of up to 200km\/h.<\/p>\n
About 4.10pm (Sunday 7 June 2015), officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command attempted to stop a motorcyclist travelling north along the Hume Highway.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist allegedly failed to stop and a pursuit ensued, where the rider reached speeds of up to 200km\/h.<\/p>\n
A short time later, the motorcyclist was stopped and searched by police, who allegedly located a knife on the rider.<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old Victorian man was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he was charged with police pursuit \u2013 driving dangerously, exceed speed more than 45km\/h and custody of a knife in a public place.<\/p>\n
He was refused bail, to appear at Goulburn Local Court today (Monday 8 June 2015).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
