<\/b>A truck driver has been charged with drug offences after being stopped by police in Goulburn overnight.<\/p>\n
About 10.20pm (Thursday 4 June 2015) a 45-year-old man was driving a B-double truck on the Hume Highway, Goulburn after he was allegedly detected travelling at 120km\/h, while restricted to a maximum speed of 100km\/h, being a Class C vehicle.<\/p>\n
He was given a roadside drug test, which returned a positive reading, and a search of the vehicle allegedly located 9.6grams of amphetamine.<\/p>\n
The Queensland man was taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with deemed supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug and self administer prohibited drug.<\/p>\n
He was bail refused to appear before Goulburn Local Court today (Friday 5 June 2015)<\/p>\n
