<\/b>A man is receiving hospital treatment after being airlifted from bushland in the Hunter region today.<\/p>\n
About 4pm on Sunday (31 May 2015), a man camping in the Watagans National Park contacted police.<\/p>\n
He reported seeing another man two days earlier \u2013 on Friday 29 May 2015 \u2013 getting out of a car and entering the bush.<\/p>\n
When the car remained in the same place on Sunday afternoon, the camper decided to raise the alarm.<\/p>\n
About the same time, a 39-year-old man was reported missing by a family member.<\/p>\n
Police have been searching for the man, with the assistance of NSW State Emergency Service volunteers.<\/p>\n
About 10.50am today (Tuesday 2 June 2015), the man was located in dense bushland about 200 metres from Murrays Run Road.<\/p>\n
At 2.20pm, the man was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.<\/p>\n
