<\/b>A man has been charged with indecent assault after an alleged incident at an educational facility in Newcastle.<\/p>\n
Just after midnight yesterday (Sunday 31 May 2015), a 19-year-old woman was sleeping in accommodation on University Drive, Callaghan when a man allegedly entered her room and indecently assaulted her.<\/p>\n
A male friend heard her yell for help and removed the man from her room.<\/p>\n
Police were called later in the day and took statements regarding the alleged incident.<\/p>\n
About 10.45pm yesterday (Sunday 31 May 2015), a 23-year-old man was charged with indecent assault and granted conditional bail to appear before Newcastle Local Court on Thursday 4 June 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
