Police have charged a teenager after investigating a report of a person taking photos of a child in a public toilet at Queanbeyan last month.
\nAbout 4.15pm on Tuesday 31 March 2015, a six-year-old girl entered the toilets at a shopping centre on Monaro Street.
\nThe child has told police she saw a hand with a mobile phone emerge from under the wall of the adjacent cubicle and take a photo.
\nThe person in the neighbouring cubicle did not touch or speak to the child.
\nThe girl immediately left the toilet and told her mother, who contacted security at the shopping centre.
\nThe girl\u2019s parents contacted police and officers from Monaro Local Area Command commenced an investigation.<\/p>\n
Following inquiries, today (Wednesday 8 April 2015), police spoke with a 17-year-old boy at Wagga Wagga Police Station, where he was charged with behaving in an offensive manner.<\/p>\n
