Police have charged a man following a glassing in Manly early this morning.<\/p>\n
About 12.30am (Saturday 21 March 2015), two men, aged 25, were at a table in a hotel on the Manly Corso,<\/p>\n
Another man, aged 24, was at standing the end of the same table smoking.<\/p>\n
An argument allegedly ensued between the three about the cigarette smoke.<\/p>\n
One of the older men allegedly threw a glass at the younger man hitting him in the face.<\/p>\n
Police were contacted and Northern Beaches Local Area Command attended commencing an investigation.<\/p>\n
The younger man sustained two lacerations to his face and was taken to Royal North Shore for treatment.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old man was arrested and taken to Dee Why Police Station.<\/p>\n
He was charged with reckless wounding and possessing a prohibited drug. The 25-year-old was given conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on 15 April 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
