Police are investigating after two school children were approached in separate incidents in Kooringal, near Wagga Wagga this week.<\/p>\n
About 3.25pm yesterday (19 March 2015), an 11-year-old girl, was riding a scooter home from school on Kooringal Road, when she was approached by a man.<\/p>\n
The man, not known to the girl, spoke to her. The girl ignored the man and continued home, where she notified her parents, who in turn notified police.<\/p>\n
Police are investigating the matter as well as a report of a similar incident days earlier.<\/p>\n
About 3.20pm on Tuesday (17 March 2015), a 7-year-old girl was approached by a man while riding her bike, also on Kooringal Road.<\/p>\n
On this occasion the man also spoke to the girl and followed her for a short distance.<\/p>\n
Police from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command are investigating the two incidents and are hoping to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.<\/p>\n
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 50 to 55-years-old, with a solid build, short grey hair, grey bushy beard and a moustache.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
