Police have charged two people after a brawl at a hotel in Bondi overnight where a man was struck with a glass.<\/p>\n
About 11.20pm on Friday 13 March 2015, two groups of people were in the bar of a hotel on Campbell Parade when a dispute occurred.<\/p>\n
Two men aged 25 and 32 became involved in a verbal dispute which became a physical fight, and several other people tried to intervene.<\/p>\n
During the altercation a 24-year-old woman allegedly smashed a wine glass over the head of the younger man, causing a minor injury.<\/p>\n
The older man also suffered a number of facial injuries as a result of the altercation and was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics, after hotel security officers had stopped the brawl.<\/p>\n
Police from Eastern Suburbs Local Area Command attended establishing a crime scene.<\/p>\n
Officers arrested the 25-year-old man and the woman and took them to Waverley Police Station.<\/p>\n
The man was later charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been granted bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on 1 April 2015.<\/p>\n
