Police are investigating after shots were fired into a home in Wallsend early this morning.<\/p>\n
About 1.10am (Monday 9 March, 2015) police responded to reports of shots fired at Youll Street, Wellsend.<\/p>\n
Police have been told that a number of shots were fired, before a car was heard leaving the area.<\/p>\n
A number of bullets entered a home on Youll Street, however no one was injured.<\/p>\n
Police from Newcastle City are investigating the incident and have established a crime scene that is being examined by specialist forensic officers.<\/p>\n
