A report will be prepared for the Coroner, following the location body of a man in water near Newcastle this morning.<\/p>\n
About 6am (Monday 2 March 2015), emergency services were called to Bar Beach, on Memorial Drive, following the discovery of a body in the water.<\/p>\n
On arrival, police located the body of a man, believed to be aged in his 60s. He is yet to be formally identified.<\/p>\n
A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing, however, initial investigations suggest that the man\u2019s death is not suspicious.<\/p>\n
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.<\/p>\n
