Three teenagers are assisting police with inquiries after a vehicle was allegedly pursued for a short distance, before travelling from the Lake Macquarie area to Woy Woy today.<\/p>\n
About 1.30pm (Monday 5 January 2015), officers attached to Lake Macquarie Local Area Command attempted to stop a white Toyota Corolla sedan in the local area.<\/p>\n
A short pursuit ensued; however was terminated a short time later.<\/p>\n
Following a number of sightings throughout Tuggerah Lakes and Brisbane Water Local Area Commands, about 3.35pm, the vehicle stopped in the driveway of a home in Woy Woy.<\/p>\n
A brief foot pursuit ended on Terry Avenue, where three teenage boys \u2013 two aged 16 years and one 15 years \u2013 were arrested.<\/p>\n
They are currently assisting police at Gosford Police Station.<\/p>\n
