The train will run on the 11th and 12th October.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been keen to come back to Cootamundra with steam, and I\u2019m thrilled the opportunity has finally presented itself,\u201d said LVR Secretary Treasurer John Healey. \u201cCootamundra has been a great support to us over the years as home to our CPH Railmotors, so it\u2019s a great thing for us to bring our steam locos to town\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The LVR came through Cootamundra in March this year with Powerhouse Museum\u2019s locomotive 3265 (pronounced Thirty-Two Sixty-Five) on the way to and from Albury. However, this will be the first time that the LVR\u2019s own steam locomotives have been in Cootamundra since 2009.<br \/>\nRides are available on the heritage CPH Railmotors from Temora and Stockinbingal to Cootamundra. Passengers then board the steam train hauled by steam locomotive 5917 (pronounced Fifty-Nine Seventeen) to the famous railway town of Junee where they have two hours to enjoy lunch or dinner.
