Police are appealing for information after two girls were approached by a man near Wagga Wagga this morning.<\/p>\n
About 10.30am (Sunday 24 August 2014), two girls, aged eight and 11, were at a playground on the intersection of Protea Place and Mangrove Crescent, Forest Hill.<\/p>\n
Police have been told a dark-coloured, dual-cab utility containing four men and a child stopped near the park.<\/p>\n
One of the men reportedly got out of the car and approached the girls, attempting to grab the younger one. Police believe she may have been on the roadway.<\/p>\n
When the girls ran away, the man got back into the vehicle before it drove away.<\/p>\n
The girls reported the incident to their parents, who in turn contacted police.<\/p>\n
Detectives from Wagga Wagga Local Area Command would now like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.<\/p>\n
The man has been described as being aged in his late teens or early 20s, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.
